He was the founding Pastor of the First Church of God in VanWert OH serving that congregation for 14 years. Also assisted the Rev Paul Billheimer with his broadcast from The Great Commission Church in Anderson IN. Resided in Linnwood IN, VanWert OH, Anderson IN and Tucson AZ.
1965. Retired from the ministry.
1992. May, Jeremiah died at age 95. Buried in Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson IN.

Married Marjorie Marsella Begley her parents John Templeton Begley and Della Gilmore. Jeremiah was a carpenter and later did sales work for a lumber company. Marjorie was an accountant for the OH Power Co in Lima OH and worked for several insurance agencies then later the United Presidential Insurance Company Office in Kokomo IN. They resided in Lima OH and Anderson IN. Jeremiah died Aug 14 1951 and is buried in Anderson Memorial Cemetery in Anderson IN. Marjorie remarried to Robert Carl Cade. 4 Children and 1 adopted in 1st marriage 1. Rex Neal Ryan (18) 2. John Wesley Ryan Jr (18) born Dec 16 1941 in Madison Co IN. Died Jul 1942 at age 7 months, and is buried in Ovid (now New Columbus) IN about 6 miles south of Anderson IN. 3. Sharon Diana Ryan (18) (Kirkpatrick) (Jarvis) Married Thomas Joseph Kirkpatrick son of Allen O'Neal Kirkpatrick Sr and Eva Evelyn Horan, divorced. Remarried to Stephen K Jarvis son of James K Jarvis and Donna Lee Jenkins. 1. Scott Allen Kirkpatrick (19) 2. Married to Charles Orval Shuman born Nov 17 1916 in Madison Co IN and whose parents were Clarence Shuman and Mary Jones. Velma was a homemaker and a sales clerk at Weilers in Anderson IN. Charles was a salesman of fire trucks for Howe Fire Apparatus Co. Divorced in 1965. Charles resided in Bellefontaine OH. Velma remarried to Murry McCrocklin. Velma died Jan 13 1976 and is buried in Memorial Gardens in Anderson IN. Charles died May 1978. 2 Children in 1st marriage 1. After returning to the US she married Samuel Sherman Betts and he began his ministry. Son of Wayne Forest Betts and Clara Agnes Bucey. Betty attended Taylor Univ in Upland IN and Chicago Presbyterian School of Nursing in Chicago IL, becoming a registered nurse. They served as missionaries in Kisii Kenya Africa. Betty died Apr 30 1985 and is buried in Monroe Twp Cemetery in Scio OH. Samuel married Martha Ellen Collier, Martha had 4 children from a previous marriage: James Michael Collier, Vickie Darlene Collier, Kathie Dawn Collier, and Jamie Reed Collier. 1.
