Dec 17th, Francis married Lucinda Smith. They were farmers. 1872. May 2nd, Francis & Eldridge Sherman bought 80 acres in Adams Township Seneca County OH, E 1/2 of SW 1/4 of Section 31; Eldridge sold his half to Francis on Apr 3 1879. 1874. Sherman Brothers owned 80 acres with buildings in Adams Township, E 1/2 of the SW 1/4 of Section 31); this was Francis & Eldridge. 1874. F & E Sherman owned 56 acres with buildings in Clinton Township, N irregular 56 acres of NE 1/4 of Section 1. 1879. Apr 3rd, Francis Sherman bought 20 acres in Adams Township Seneca County OH from his mother Hulda Sherman, S 20 acres of W 1/2 of SW 1/4 Section 31. 1892. Feb 17th, Lucinda died in Seneca County OH (SD p483), and buried in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Seneca County OH. 1900. Census of Adams Township Seneca County OH indicated: Francis Sherman age 54, Bertie F Sherman, son, age 28, Arthur E Sherman age 17, Edith M Sherman age 12, Edna Z Sherman age 8, Hulda Sherman, mother, age 77. 1903. Apr 2nd, Francis Sherman bought 76.42 acres in Adams Township Seneca County OH, N 76.42 acres of W 1/2 of SW 1/4 of Section 31. 1905. Married Oct 20 1915 to Ali Mostrom, who was born c1888 in Clinton IA. Lived in Detroit MI. Edna died in Detroit MI Feb 16 1939 and buried in Detroit MI. Ali died Mar 22 1941. Both buried in Detroit MI.
