Census of Watertown Twp, Tuscola County, Michigan indicated: William age 47, farmer, $2,000 real and $500 personal property, born in Canada, parents foreign born, citizen: Nancy age 40, keeping house, can not write English: Ellen Wilse age 19, at home, born in Canada, attended school: James N Warren age 10 born in New York (unknown relationship).
1875. William Wilse owned 80 acres in Watertown Twp, the house being on the West side of Fostoria Road, about 4/10 mile North of Swaffer Road.
1880. Census of Watertown Twp, Tuscola County, Michigan indicated: William age 55, Nancy age 48. Also in the same dwelling is their daughter Ellen's family.
1889. Nancy Wilse lived in Mayville Michigan and received $265 from her mother's estate.
1906. William Wilse died 25 May at Mayville Michigan of chronic bronchitis and heart failure, he is buried in the Old Watertown Cemetery.
