1822. William D Wilse was born probably in Norwich Ontario Canada, his parents were John Wilse of Mayville and Anna Raymond.

1829. Nancy Sherman was born in Norwich Twp, Oxford County, Ontario.

1849. William Wilse of Burford Brant County, Ontario was married to Nancy Sherman by George Sherman (unknown relationship) Minister of Christian Church. One of the witnesses was Harriet Sherman (14), believed to be the daughter of David and Sarah Sherman who will be married by the same Minister in 1850.

1861. Census of North Norwich Twp, Oxford County, Ontario indicated: Nancy Sherman age 31, Baptist and her daughter Ellen M Wilse age 11, lived with her parents, Williams location unknown.

1870. Census of Watertown Twp, Tuscola County, Michigan indicated: William age 47, farmer, $2,000 real and $500 personal property, born in Canada, parents foreign born, citizen: Nancy age 40, keeping house, can not write English: Ellen Wilse age 19, at home, born in Canada, attended school: James N Warren age 10 born in New York (unknown relationship).

1875. William Wilse owned 80 acres in Watertown Twp, the house being on the West side of Fostoria Road, about 4/10 mile North of Swaffer Road.

1880. Census of Watertown Twp, Tuscola County, Michigan indicated: William age 55, Nancy age 48. Also in the same dwelling is their daughter Ellen's family.

1889. Nancy Wilse lived in Mayville Michigan and received $265 from her mother's estate.

1906. William Wilse died 25 May at Mayville Michigan of chronic bronchitis and heart failure, he is buried in the Old Watertown Cemetery.

1910. Census of Mayville Village, Tuscola County indicated Nancy Wilse.

1911. Nancy Wilse a widow, died of apoplexy at Mayville Michigan, she is buried in the Old Watertown Cemetery.
