married in Vassar MI by W B Beeteys Baptist Minister, witnesses
were Joseph and Phoebe E Shook
1900. Census of Watertown Twp
indicated David Sherman age 34, farm laborer, lived in a rented
house, Louise F Sherman age 25 wife, Mina A Sherman age 14, David
Sherman, Roy D Sherman (unclear) age 11, all could read, write,
and speak English. It also indicated David and Hannah Summers
lived there
1902. D Sherman owned 80 acres
in Watertown Twp, a 70 and a 10 acre plot

will sell the farm and implements of David Sherman of Mayville
on Thursday 15 March at one o'clock
1907. David Sherman is drawing
sand preparatory to building a wall under his barn in Spring

District attended the Ladies Aid at D Sherman's on Wednesday
last and reported a fine time

1912. Emory Corby has sold his
residence property to David H Sherman who will move to town

bought a large farm on the outskirts of Marlette through the
Soper & Miller agency.
1912. On Monday David Sherman
secured a deal for the purchase of the Adair farm, this is considered
one of the most desirable farm properties in this section

192x. David sold his farm to
a "ragman" for cash, quit farming and as a retirement
project he built two houses in Flint MI. He lived in one and
rented the other, and maintained them very well
1940. Louise F Sherman died
in Flint MI, she is buried in old Watertown Cemetery
1949. Mar 25, David Sherman
died at his residence, services were held at Methodist Church
in Mayville MI, he is buried in old Watertown Cemetery |
