1877. On 4 July Ella Sherman
age 17 of Watertown was married to Alonzo Raymond age 24 a farmer
of Watertown, both born in Canada, witnesses William Davison
of _______, and Sarah Sherman of Watertown.
1878. On 1 April Alonzo Raymond
was a witness to Alden Sherman signing his will, a Eli Raymond
was also a witness relationship unknown.
1880. Census of Deerfield Twp,
Lapeer County, Michigan indicated: Alonzo Raymond age 24, farmer,
he and both parents born in Canada, Ella Raymond age 20, wife,
keeping house.
1884. The following data may

Lapeer County, Michigan indicated: Alonzo age 63 farmer, Ella
age 49, married 36 years, she had three children, 2 alive.
1915. They lived in Elba MI according to her fathers probate.
1921. December Ellen lived in
Elba according to brother Alonzo's obit.
1923. On 23 Feb Alonzo Raymond
was killed, he was deaf, and he walked in front of the train
which ran down the main street of Elba MI, he is buried in Old
Watertown Cemetery, in William Sherman's lot.
1939. On 23 Nov, Ellen died
and is buried in Old Watertown Cemetery. |
