age 19, farmer, married in Mayville MI to Anne June age 18 of
Deerfield Twp, Lapeer County, MI. Witnesses were Scott McQueen
and Frank Fraelick.

Road Watertown Twp, near Millington MI.
1900. Census of Watertown Twp
indicated: Harvey Sherman age 35, farmer, owns farm free of debt,
Annie Sherman age 34, Alick J Sherman age 14, Agnus W Sherman
age 13, Nelson R Sherman age 6, Grace A Sherman age 5, and Gertrude
Sherman age 1. All over the age of 10 can read, write and speak
English.
1905. H Donaldson will conduct
the Auction sale of implements, stock, etc of Harvey Sherman
on the premises ½ mile North of Watertown Center, on Thursday
March 16th at one o'clock sharp.

recovering from a severe case of pneumonia.

1911. Murphy Lake: On Wednesday
of last week eight or ten ladies of the vicinity went to Mrs
Harvey Sherman's by surprise and quilted a quilt and served a
very nice dinner and some stayed for supper. A few men did not
forget Mr Sherman and came in for a chat. A good time was enjoyed
by all.
1911. H Sherman has sold his
potatoes and men from Millington are sacking them for shipment.
1911. Mrs E Germain and Mrs
H Sherman were out collecting money for a wheel chair for Mrs
P R Crosby. They were successful in obtaining enough for the
chair.

barn nearly completed and is ready for haying.

John K Sherman.
1929. Anne E Sherman died of
a Ceb. Hemorrhage on 10 Feb, she is buried in old Watertown Cemetery.
1935. Harvey Sherman owned 80
acres in Watertown Twp, 1½ story, 7 room house built in
1909, wood frame siding, fair condition. A 50' x 36' x 16' barn
built 1909, lighting rods, good condition.
1938. Harvey Sherman died 8
Aug, he is buried in old Watertown Cemetery beside his wife. |
