Census of Kenockee Twp St Clair Co MI indicated: Dennis Dowd age 26, born in Canada & parents born in Ireland, married 1 year, Lived 20 years in MI; Ellen Dowd age 20, lived in MI 17 years; Kate Culhane [Ellen's sister] age 16, born in MI; William Dowd age 22, blacksmith [probably Dennis' brother].
